That's one of the problems with having a Sheriff in his retirement years. Whoever the next Sheriff is, they should be a change-agent wanting to make the county safer in dangerous times, and not a career politician or retiree from another job just wanting to be Sheriff. Louisville has too many people aspiring to hold offices and not enough people interested in really doing the job.
