County had a strong FOP. City FOP cowered down to brass and the current FOP are pushovers and cowards. So yes I believe we would have much better benefits than we have now. Our FOP stood strong for us.

How long until they force public employees to go into the new health exchange? They will need lots of healthy people to pay premiums for it to work. No doubt in my mind this is the beginning of the end of separate health care programs for those working for the state and local government.
