Former Audubon Park Police sergeant claims he was harassed and wrongfully fired

If somebody tells a racial joke, it doesn't necessarily makes them a racist. If somebody tells a homose'xual joke, it doesn't make them a homophobe. The lesson learned here should be you cannot say what you want in a workplace and assume it is acceptable. When you are sued for it, it may finally register that you should not have conducted yourself that way at work.

Not a homophobe, but:

1. I disagree with their lifestyle and do not want to explain it to my son or daughter.

2. Would feel uncomfortable and embarrassed working with male gay who acted "flamboyant"

The city could have daily parades like Disneyworld. There's not enough details or political correctness in Louisville yet.

My answer to my children has been simple. "People love who they love. Just like I love Mommy and you kiddos. I will always love you, no matter what."

Simple answer. Just like my faith in God, I only ask that my children choose their own path based on their knowledge that will be gained. So far, so good. They haven't been as judgmental as I have, and I hope they will be better people because of it.

Does flamboyant homosexuality make me uncomfortable? Yes, because open displays of sexuality of any sort causes questions from my kids, but that is my problem to work around, not the other persons.

Folks, watch what we say on here. This guy is a brother officer, we don't live his life nor have we walked in his shoes. People are people, that's it. Be gentile with the comments as we know the media and command read the posts, we don't need mandated sensitivity training.

I always find ironic when people, especially 'Christians' quote the bible. The are often the same people who puck and choose parts that support their view. These are also the same people who regularly violate the vast majority of the 613 commandments in the bible. These are known as the laws of Moses.

I am Christian, and I sin. And I have sinned. As I do not want you to sit in judgement of my sins, leaving that to God alone, I will not sit in judgement of others.
