Metro councilman to fund overtime after Hikes Point shooting

Since I left on such good terms I have had 3 job offerings with other depts. Yeah they were small city depts but at least I was offered. Had one offered the day I walked out of hdq after signing papers,but here's the catch, since the 30 year pension was so good and I paid all my bills off except house, and have a good deferred comp, I don't have to work and am enjoying my retirement. I'll give you guys some advice, work till you get your pension where you want even if it is past 20, you won't regret it. 20 and out pays no money. Get your finances in order before you leave. Their is a world of opportunity to make a lot of money on the side, pour it into deferred comp. Enjoy life when you leave instead of going back to work. I am. Take care of each other brothers your all you have. This is not to brag it's just telling you to get your **** together before you leave you won't regret it.
