You make so heavy assumptions. If you are a cop don't EVER assume you will not be charged with a bogus crime even if in the end it means you will be acquitted. There have been plenty of cops dragged through the system in the name of political grand standing. Sometimes weak cases are pursued knowing they are running on fumes because of ego or politics. Anybody who is a cop and thinks the system will protect you is living in a fantasy world. MR
