I have seen several contracts in the last twenty years, and this is the second best one. However; it is much better than the worst ones. You WILL be getting a raise. Step pay will still be there also. They are leaving insurance alone. If you can't handle that, try the private sector. I am sure you can do better. Wink, wink. Your pay is good. Your insurance and premiums right now are great. You still have a take home car and you can work off duty if needed. Don't overextend yourself and you won't need too.
