Good luck my friend. I don't know what you are hoping for but if you haven't figured it out yet, your disillusion that metro government is going to freely give you anything better is just that. Your willingness to allow the city to unilaterally decide what kind of healthcare and pay we get is nuts. All negotiating is over. If we don't take this contract you relinquish all hope of anything favorable for us. Once this contract is voted down, we don't get to change our minds later once their next worse offer is fed to us and go back to it.

Me too! I say BS that not only did I have to pay $100 a month to ensure my entire family in 2011, but 2012 as well!!!!!Now they want me to pay $100 a month for five more years. That is BS! Everyone else gets to pay $565 for the same plan….well not quite the same. Theirs is only 20/80 coverage, not 100% like mine. Except that, it’s the same…..well, not really I guess. They also have a $7,200 out of pocket max expense and mine is zero when in network. It’s just not fair! Oh, and I don’t even get to pay the $100 spousal surcharge like they do. To really rub it in, they are denying me my right to pay, on top of everything else, $50 more if I dip or smoke. Horse@#$&. Why do I have to be locked in at $100 a month for five years when everybody else gets to pay so much? I’m filing a grievance.
