And while I agree that there are crazy spending from the city and some of the hiring but most of the stupid spending is a one time cost where a 4% raise for 1200 cops, 450 firemen, 300 EMS is a forever incurring cost.....then another 4% on top of the previous 4% and so on for the life of a contract.....If you think this is a bad contract you are in LALA land. I think this is the best contract offer I have seen in nearly 26 years.... Jerry Abramson would have never let the FOP walk out with this
