You my friend are a moron!!!! Their patrol guys are knocking down $70 to $75 grand a year. Their base salary is about $ 63.000 and add in OT and court and you get the above figure. Plus 10 hour shifts that they recently went to. Can you say " its not the same".........

You really need to get that chip off your shoulder and wake up! There are several "SMALL" cities that make more that metro.... I know a guy who just retired from Anchorage and his pension is $55k a year.. He got all the over time he wanted and no command staff looking at his every move. Wake up people, the grass is greener in the suburbs!
