LMPD officer charged with official misconduct after ordering woman to strip

WE are not giving up anything. 6 years ago when they negotiated the expired contract we all thought insurance would be higher....It is $30 a check today. I and most never thought for 5 more years I would still pay $30 a check and I will but through June 2018 and probably until 2020 until a new contract is passed. Also an 11% raise. LFD and 4000 other city employees paying 20 times that in insurance premiums and LFD took a zero last year and next year. 100% YES FOR ME.

St.Matthews Officers have free insurance and only pay the $ 20.00 co-pay for office visits.. Thats it; no out of pocket expenses. Officers also start out making what a 20 year sergeant makes and $ 88 for court /equivilant of 2 hours of OT..Lifes good, glad i'm gone..By the way take that contract its the best i have seen since the god forsaken merger

So we should all go to Metro plan now because somebody down the line might not get what we have? That doesn't make sense. It sucks they won't get FOP plan, but at least they will know what they are getting when they agree to be hired.
