Makes me want to dust off my Exceptional Valor award I got. I never really cared about my award until one day a sergeant told me how rare it is to receive and how I really needed to appreciate it receiving it. It hangs proudly in my hallway now so whenever I'm sitting on the thrown with my bathroom door open, I can turn to my right and see it hanging just before I wipe. Sorry.....

Congratulations to all those who were awarded recognition and to those nominated that were not selected.

They should also give people who get shot a cost of living raise to let their pay keep up with inflation for that year, if the money's not already being spent on the Hike, Bike, and Paddle event or one of the many traffic control details.

not including Washington and a couple others, but MOST awards given in this department are a joke and a result of b.u.t.t.buddies. pretty sad and a slap in the face to those that actually sacrifice and go above and beyond. welcome to the political arena.

The lineage is now revealed. Many people are at a loss for a response when someone says "You don't know KIT," but now you can handle this situation with confidence!

Kit is the only son of O. KIT and Awe KIT. O. KIT, the fertilizer magnate, married Awe KIT, the owner of Knee-deep N. KIT, Inc.

In turn, Jack KIT married Noe KIT, and the deeply religious couple produced six children: Holie KIT, Fulla KIT, Giva KIT, Bull KIT and the twins, Deep KIT and Dip KIT.

Against her parents objections, Deep KIT married Dump KIT, a high school drop-out. After being married 15 years, Jack and Noe KIT divorced. Noe KIT later married Mr. Scherlock, and because her kids were living with them, she wanted to keep her previous name. She was then known as Noe KIT-Sherlock.

Dip KIT married Loada KIT and they produced a nervous son, Chicken KIT. Fulla KIT and Giva KIT were inseparable throughout childhood and subsequently married the Happens brothers in a dual ceremony. The wedding announcement in the newspapers announced the KIT-Happens wedding. They created a bumper sticker and made millions. You've probably seen it...

The KIT-Happens children were Dawg, Byrd and Hoarse. Bull KIT, the prodigal son, left home to tour the world. He recently returned from Italy with his new bride Pisa KIT.

So now when someone says, "You don't know KIT," you can correct them and inform them of your more than deep knowledge of the family tree.
