Memphis mayor says police union's 'danger' billboards hurting city's image |
RE: Memphis mayor says police union's 'danger' billboards hurting...
I marched, I was there, and I was not out of touch. That was a statement to address a systemic problem with the Mayor's office and wether you like it or not it accomplished more than it's intended goal. It brought together the department more than it had been in a long, long time and we were a lot more unified than we are now. We need to stop the infighting and try to get a sense of identity for ourselves as a group and not individuals. Only than will we start to see things truly improve. Stay safe.

Sherrard's actions put the two detectives under the federal microscope - as it clearly indicated that LMPD had no intention of doing a fair investigation of what had happened in the shooting. That's the sort of thing that invites the FBI to come in and take a look.

You're out of touch with everything but your private parts. When a moron politician does something stupid, people have a right to protest under the 1st Amendment, even those whose paycheck is from the City. Don't like it? Move to China, Comrade.
