Are you one of those beat guys who "call a detective" to make your patrol decisions for you? I heard some detectives actually keep a Dirty Dozens list of officers who will call a detective for the most simple things hoping the detectives will coach them through their run. No I have never wanted to be a detective, but I know when to call one.
