Why do people like you worry so much about what the public thinks? Regardless of what the public thinks, the police department is not going to absolve. If the police cough wrong, the public hates the police. The police can't do anything right so why worry about kissing the publics' feet? We are not selling a product. Yes, image is important but the odds have always been against us. If you still police officers as role models, then you are the one with the outdated mindset. The public (and many officers)
