I thought it was hilarious!

Ridiculous. And one of the commenters on that story said "If they seen this guy in the Highlands they would have stopped him". Terrific grammar first off, but that is only the beginning of his/her ignorance. They "seen" the burglar in this incident, in a stolen car even, and they couldn't pursue him. And the pursuit policy is the same for the Highlands, just like it is the lowlands. Getting tired of the "police don't care about the West End, and/or black people" garbage. I work there, and hear it all too often. Give us the proper tools (equipment and or policies) to fight criminal behavior, and we'll do it in every part of the city. The guy in the Highlands didn't jump into a stolen car and flee the scene. Ignorance is bliss.
