Gun Shop owner says New Albany was scammed during gun buyback event

Chief White said anyone who was a police officer prior to getting hired and was not a lateral could cbange their name tag to reflect that....NOT EXPLORER. I dont have a problem with anyone changing theirs if they had any prior hazardous duty retirement time.....With the new patrol uniform its not a problem.

Saw the R Fey name plate at MPC last week. Didn't think much of the serving since year (the place he worked at before does NOT count), I was just like...yeah he can afford that!

Question: should prior sworn service count? e.g. with Shively or Indianapolis Metro?
