RE: Man's picture used on dating site
I gotta call bullsh** on this one.
RE: Man's picture used on dating site
I would be too, normally.
About a year ago, I found a charge on my bank account for a match.com account. I called them, and they refused to refund the charge or provide details. Two different 'customer service' representatives refused to transfer me to a supervisor, and hung up on me. The conversations never got heated, they just refused to address the charge, and wanted me to provide them with my detailed information.
The charge came from my debit card, which was in my possession. I am the only user (well...besides match.com, apparently)
After a few phone calls, I just called the bank and had them remove the charges and checked my credit report for any other crap they might have pulled.
So this doesn't support and refute anything in the story, other than match.com is a scam of a business that tolerates and promotes fraud.
