He will need to put some heat on those in the system who are letting them walk out the door, like some judges and state Corrections. If they want to hug thugs, then go on TV, tell the public about it and support whoever is running against the weak judges. They need to know who exactly let that felon go back on the street so they could hurt somebody else.

Prosecutors can't expect to plea bargain 95% of the time if they want tougher sentencing. The defense lawyers will threaten to clog the courts if they don't get the sweetheart deals offered in the past. Getting parole or probation revoked should be a priority for the ones committing new violent crimes.

Yeah he wants to be real tough on crime. Thats why he let go some of the best trial attorneys the Commonwealth had and the rumor is he wants to also do away with Direct Indictments and have more PC hearings in District Court. Nothing like having your witness from a homicide case out there from a PC hearing before it ever makes it to Circuit.Thats where the high bonds come from is fast track Direct Indictments You think the homicide rate is high now...
