LMPD recruits learn value of community service

Except it should be voluntary. You cannot force people to show compassion as a condition of employment. If its not done from the heart, it should not be required. It would be like someone requiring you to sign up for Shop with a Cop. If your heart aint in it, you shouldn't be made to "fake a smile".
