Absolutely!...When I was a kid I was beat with the following handy items:

plastic race car tracks (remember TCR cars?)

rusted bicycle chain

shower curtain rod

cooking spatula

garden hose

Kids these days don't know what tough love is!!

If you want to know the law its best not to take advice from officers sorry but true I have had so many officers tell me wrong its crazy just like carrying a firearm saying you can have it in your seat or out in the open without a conceal permit in correct I talked to the sgt out here and he said its up to the officer wrong again the officer does not make the laws he is supposed to enforce them. I was also told when i was 18 if I hit this punk who kept trying to start a fight nothing would happen wrong turns out when your 18 even if a 17 year old minor hits you, you may not hit them back. I don't take advice of the law from an officer as weird as that may sound. I have also been told by an officer it is illegal to open carry wrong again we are a gold star state we can open carry. So when I say its illegal to spank your child I assure you it is.
