In Chicago, they spent $55 Million to eradicate violence, or buy votes, depending on your perspective. The results were horrific at best... with homicides up 20% over a two year period. I believe that since these results didn't pan out, we should try another approach for a change.

For $55 Million, I believe a really nice establishment could be built to house these future "leaders". It could include weight rooms, cable television, free meals, free medical care, and jobs while attending. And,if we were to get the judges on board with the "new" initiative, we could even have a few people sent there to try it out for a while. After being lodged, these fine folks would want for nothing, as it is all expenses paid. I for one would not mind to try another approach to ending senseless violence. The previous methods of just throwing others money on a select few are yielding few, if any, results. Increased violence and hearings for those entrusted with the money are not strong measurable goals. Thoughts?
