To answer your question. "Germans?"

The poster was making an obscure reference to the movie "Animal House" in which the character "Bluto", portrayed by actor John Belushi, is giving a motivational speech to the members of his fraternity. During his speech, he states, albeit incorrectly, that the Germans were responsible for the attack on Pearl Harbor. The post in question is valid due to the arbitrary date of December the 7th being chosen by Chief Conrad as the date in which to implement the new and severely limiting pursuit policy. The Slim Pickens clip, from the movie "1941" is merely a case of humorous "one-upmanship" by another poster. Coincidentally, the movie "1941" also features John Belushi, but it is also valid to the discussion in this particular thread due to the fact that it has both the Germans and the Japanese in the role of the villianous archtype. (The movie "1941" surrounds the panic on the West coast following the December 7th attack on Pearl Harbor but is more loosely based on the "Battle of Los Angeles" which took place in February of 1942.)

I hope this clears up any confusion you may have had. May I suggest in the future, you waste a little more time drinking beer and watching movies that are totally devoid of culture and/or educational value. (I highly recommend that you start with "Mystery Science Theater 3000" then this will all make much more sense.) By watching these movies over and over, you too might some day have the have the pleasure of slipping obscure film dialogue into everyday conversations.
