what exactly was the point of this 'article'? officers drive thousands upon thousands of miles, under stress, and with a ton of distractions - trying to get to those that need help. of course there are going to be some wrecks. that is a no-brainer. nature of the beast. nice try throwing dirt, but all I got from this 'story' is that officers don't cause most of the wrecks they are involved in. during my shift I, have at least 2-3 morons almost run into me. to the point that I have to swerve to avoid
