Metro Corrections officer charged with DUI, wanton endangerment

Just another day here at metro corrections!

He's a human being. Do you know how many people drink and drive every day? More than we would ever guess. It's done because society tolerates it. It is acceptable. If you happen to be one of the FEW that get caught you will pay a small fine and get a slap on the wrist - for putting countless lives at risk. It is ridiculous, but society accepts it. Drunk driving will continue to be a huge problem until a real deterrent is put in place. It's a shame this guy will probably lose his job, but he wouldn't if he was a doctor, lawyer, iron worker, construction worker, store clerk, investment banker, politician, etc, etc.
