So she took the 5th...Big freaking deal. It's called Constitutional Rights. If you don't believe in an individual's Constitutional Rights, then please resign. You have no business being a police officer. If her exercising her right to remain silent is all the proof you need that she is guilty, you need to leave the police department before you find yourself in some serious civil rights violations...believe me, it's coming. Real police officers respect peoples' rights and the Constitution.
