If they changed the staffing at the book and actually scheduled enough BA operators to fill the machines every night (or at least on nights that have been historically busier), the waiting thing wouldn't happen very often, and it still seems cheaper than certifying several hundred officers. I agree. There is nothing wrong with a beat officer working DUIs. Obviously no one should let their beat get carried away while only focusing on DUIs, but if DUIs are a significant issue
