"Sanders and another man, Dejuan Alexander, also 19, were accused of punching, kicking and using pepper spray on a person in Old Louisville and taking items including an e-reader, arrest reports said. Alexander was charged with first-degree robbery and tampering with evidence, for allegedly tossing away the pepper spray."

The guy the Officer slapped was a thug who deserved to be slapped around. Our criminal justice system simply slaps these ruthless street criminals on the wrist and let's them go. then they go right back to assaulting and robbing more innocent people.

Does the Paid Administrative Leave include Hazardous Duty Pay? Thats my question. Off since April, come on, Murders have been solved quicker than this. And the incident was caught on video.

Get rid of the dead weight and move forward.

What is going on in the the Major Crimes-Homicide Unit? All the seasoned Detectives are leaving and going back to riding a beat. That makes no sense. Has Barry Wilkerson lost his marbles? Wilkerson never speaks to Officer's in passing, you could pass this guy in the hallway and he makes you feel like you are dirt under his feet. He never speaks back. I'm sure the head office see's the Red Flags.

This guy never learns a lesson from past errors. He should have been fired when he cut all the tires on a vehicle while he was on duty and patrolling. Once a criminal always a criminal. Get rid of the black eye that stains this dept.

Poor David. Let's get back to him. He pled not guilty yesterday in court. Next court date is in November. I have a feeling he is not long for this job. I cannot remember an officer getting charged for smacking someone. It leads me to believe they are coming after him to get rid of him.

Just read this morning about another LMPD officer being charged with 4th degree assault. Charles Wheeler. Had not heard of this one before now. THe story seems hokey, but you never know.

with several stories and many things in the past. Why do Officers not only put them self in a bad situation but also other officers.......it makes not sense. I have been a policeman for a long time and have locked up lots of bad guys, send several to prision and had a fuzzy tail for years, but have had zerooooooooo complaints in internal affairs. I hear officers alllllllll the time say if you dont go to internal affairs then your not a real or good cop. I 100% disagreeeeeeeeeee. I hear cops bragging about going to internal affairs 20-50 times in less than 5 years on. WOW!
