My response is meant to enlighten you and others who may not understand or who may have never been involved in a contract negotiation. It’s not meant to be sarcastic or nasty, so please don’t take it that way. Metro is not just presenting one great big complete contract to the FOP that can be looked at for a week and then accepted because it is overly generous (unless Metro has seriously changed the way they operate). They negotiate article by article by article….and there are over 40 articles.
