Do what I did. Write their name and code number at the bottom of the arrest slip. Their arrest powers are the same as yours. Let them get the subpoena.

This is another problem with these "special units". There is no true application process. They pick who they want and they want people they can control and boss around, people who want to be a part of the "unit" so bad that they will do anything they are told to avoid getting kicked off. I'm not putting my name on a citation if I'm not comfortable with everything that is on it. It's an official legal document. In the end it will be your a$$ answering for what is on it. I want to be there in court when you say, "but the Lt. Told me to do it.".
