You are living a fantasy kiddo. Nobody fears the police. Your authority is slowly being taken away and you don't even recognize it. First, you cannot arrest juveniles unless it's a certain class of felony; then, you cannot pursue the bad guy if he takes off in a car; now, you cannot arrest for most misdemeanors.
