Kentucky State Police say a pursuit in Carroll County has ended with the fatal shooting of a suspect.
State police officers and the Carroll County sheriff's office were involved in the pursuit on Kentucky Highway 47 about 2 p.m.
The suspect was reportedly in the process of being arrested when he tried to escape. No word on his identity or why he was arrested.
Neither officer was harmed in the shooting.
