As you know the FOP is to begin Contract negotiations with Louisville Metro Government March 2004. As the Lodge prepares for those talks to begin, we need your input.
Please take some time and create a list from 1-10 (1 being most important) of things you feel need to be addressed, added or changed in the up coming contract. Then send that list through e-mail or inner-departmental mail.
As we prepare for the upcoming negotiations, we are looking for hard working and dedicated members to participate on the FOP 614 negotiations committee. This will be a landmark contract as we look to create one new contract from the old Suburban and old Urban contracts. If you are interested, please submit a position paper as to why you should be on the committee and what you bring to the table, that will be an asset to the Lodge. Please either e-mail your documents or mail them to the Lodge through inner-departmental mail.
