Two Indiana law enforcement officers have been arrested as part of an investigation into illegal steroids.

Indiana State Police arrested Anthony Mills Jr. and Robert Wilcoxson early Monday morning.

Mills has been a Jeffersonville police officer for two years and is on paid leave.

Wilcoxson is a Clark County corrections officer and has been fired.

Detectives started the investigation in June after ISP detectives received information that the two were trying to get illegal steroids.

ISP said it conducted a reverse sting to sell Mills and Wilcoxson what the two thought were illegal steroids.

Police said Mills was arrested driving his police cruiser.

Mills was charged with attempted possession of a controlled substance. Wilcoxson was charged with attempting to deal in a controlled substance, attempted possession of a controlled substance and dealing in a look-alike substance.

Both men were incarcerated at the Clark County Jail awaiting their first court appearance.
