Fantastic job guys. Following your instincts, keeping your eyes open and looking beyond the initial violation. Pay attention citizens, this is good police work. So the next time an officer pulls you over and starts asking questions be a little more understanding. It may not be a kidnapping but often other things are discovered by such work. You may be innocent but let them work.....

Had the car refused to stop LMPD could not have pursued due to its weak policy. Good thing these criminals allowed themselves to be caught!

Okay, while driving home tonight I heard 3 runs dispatched with in 5 minutes to assist EMS on medical runs and the police were going because the patient was drinking. Why do we have to go on 3000-5000 runs a year with EMS just because the patient is drinking. Over the past 25 years 99.999999999999999999999 percent of these runs are nothin and a waste of 75,000 runs over my career..Could someone in the Chiefs office get with EMS and Metrosafe and tell them no reason for the police to be dispatched just because someone is drinking...

To every LMPD Officer...We have had these radios for 2 years.. When you switch channels there is a 5 second delay before you hear what is going on on the channel you switched to. STOP WALKING OVER EACH OTHER AND LISTEN BEFORE YOU KEY YOUR MIC AND TALK..
