Agreed. That is totally different than accusing someone of sleeping on duty.

The safety factor, there is no argument. That is not the purpose of the article.

I am not a police officer but I have never quite understood the logic that a lot of police officers have. What makes you believe you become a target as soon as you "let your guards" down? I have met a few cops over the years and they are all weird people (very paranoid, very square, and too judgmental). If you believe a cop sleeping in a patrol car in uniform makes you a target, you might as well believe in the boogie man. The public at large does not want to shoot you, ok?

If we paid OUR police officers , firefighters and ems better they would not have to work 2 or 3 jobs like some of my LMPD friends do!!
