I hope this is not an Officer asking this question I would reather have this Brother here instead of benefets take it from me I lost my Brother last year.

Actually, it is an appropriate question. When someone passes away, they often have a family that still needs food, shelter, etc. Not knowing if that will be provided can be a large source of stress in an already stressful situation.
