Actually what CN sent out does ask that the officer use their phone to do this or the victim's phone. It has something in it that you have no idea who has talked on the victim's phone so you can use your phone then wipe it off with a disinfectant. If the officer does not want to use their phone they can then call the Sgt and they will be able to use the dept phone.
