So what I was never in the military. This aint the military. It's a civilian police force. And the way it's run nowadays, it's hardly paramilitary. The police department you loved is long gone. There aint no emphasis on comraderie and preference for ex-military types. Most people don't give two sshhiits about that. Yet mysteriously, the department is still functional. You can hope all you want that you never work with me-the feeling is mutual.
