You (and I) work with people who do all sorts of questionable things in their personal lives. Infidelity, white lying on taxes, multiple divorces and remarriages within the same agency, stealing company time or resources, etc. Don't be pious. If you aren't the officer she was married to or cheated with, it really doesn't concern you and you probably never would have known if it weren't for rampant gossip on this site and in the department. By the time a story makes it to the 3rd or 4th person around here, it has been twisted and broken into a morsel of what the truth is, anyway. None of us will ever fully know what happened. Only the parties involved will. And as adults, we should all busy ourselves with OUR lives instead of speculating about people who don't effect our paycheck or lives.
