That was funny. Anyway, you are correct, I have zero interest in putting my name on this website (where every officer bashes the next). I do however have the balls (juvenile or not) to speak to those on my platoon that make everyone on the department (including yourself) look bad because of their "shabby" appearance. I also second the person that mentioned the "conflict" coming from the CO level. I think there is a difference between attacking those with minor SOP violations (particular holster, cuff straps, professional looking boots, etc..), and just encouraging individuals that have an awful appearance to straighten up. Basically, there's not a need to be an SOP Nazi, in order to shape up some people that don't own an iron.
