I see where Col. Gentry is "endorsed" by her aunt and another B/F on the CJ article. Both say how she is qualified to become chief. I am sure it is because they read the article, compared everyone's education and careers prior to applying, with an open mind and it has nothing to do with her race. I really don't care what race or sex the person who becomes chief is (REALLY, I would have been happy to see Chief Burks stay on and am thrilled to see him over public safety) but lets be real when we compare
