I really see no point for the average officer to be chearleading any of the candidates like this is some sort of sports contest. If you work for LMPD, sure you have a vested interest in who becomes Chief. But in the grand scheme of things, it does not matter a whole lot whoever gets the job. Very few officers have the credentials as any of the candidates so they are in a league of their own anyway and you will never be where they are. Therefore, work hard, get paid, go home! Ignore the hype.
