I understand the PIU "investigated" complaints about him swearing in deputies, etc. for three years and couldn't find enough to indict - when any officer in the 3rd Division could testify that he had people running around as deputies the entire time. I'm afraid he'll get acquitted on this and then they will again be too scared to go after him for these crimes, and he'll keep right on until he either kills someone or gets another officer killed.
