I have never, ever left my car running without someone being in it, preferably behind the wheel. I would hope that every officer would, in honor of Ms. Brandon, cite at least one person for it. THERE IS NO REASON FOR IT. I particularly love the folks who have to warm it up "for the baby" when the baby is bundled up so much they are sweating. Properly dressed babies (and most are overdressed in the winter) won't have any problem at all spending a few minutes in a cold car.
