Terry Meiners found not guilty in speeding case; officer threatens defamation lawsuit

I was in the same court room with Sam a year or so ago. He wrote a speeding ticket to a smaller agency's officer who was working, in uniform, in his police car, and on a run. The prosicutor and several officers asked Sam to dismiss it because he was on a run (the officer had a copy of the dispatch run card) he would only agree to the officer going to traffic school. I told the officer to ask for a bench trial but he was to afraid to ask.
