Thanks. I believe the new mayor here actually cares about the rank and file, so I am not to worried about how we will end up. Your department on the other hand has very little to look forward to. Robert White destroyed our departments.

What you will see from Robert White will probably happen in this order, but maybe changed around abit.

1. A statement that the public perception is the reality. He will then state to the media that he wants to build a 'team', 'coallition' or other such term with 'community' - by which he means the minority church leadership

2. He will attend every minority church service in town in the 1st year.

3. Your specialty units will be decentralized to a "division level", leaving skeleton crews to operate.

4. He will 'start', or claim to start, a community based unit.

5. He will claim to hold leadership accountable by using the new york style comstat program, but will only target individual officers will 'low' activity and will never hold the appointed leadership accountable when their divisions or districts get over run with crime due to ineptitude or poor leadership.

6. He will never warm to your FOP or similar union set up.

I hope I am wrong and he is a better chief to you than he was to us. He is a very nice guy, but definite a politically driven knive who will cut what ever or who ever your mayor wants cut.
