Yeah, but she is only singled out because she is Black. There are lots of top brass without degrees even today. Having a degree is overrated anyway. Some of the dumbest people I know have degrees so having a degree just means you are capable of learning. It does not mean you will be better at your position. So you hate the race card? Well, I'm just calling it for what it is. Gentry is a fine Chief and if she was White, you would agree.

Exactly, she was already #2 way before she got her degree! I dont see race being played here. No one said anything about her race, only they should drop the degree requirement to be a police officer. Gentry had no degree when she applied back years ago, and look at where she is now. I see where that is a compliment going towards her. Nothing about her race Dumb A@$.
