We all know you all cant stand the chief, but if it were your fellow officer, like the cop who threatened suicide after beating his wife off taylorsville road (last year???) then you all would make all sorts of excuses for him, and help it go away.

Just the fact that you repeatedly choose to blame a girl who was hit by a COP breaking the law intentionally, shows where your allegiances lie.

She may have been drunk, yes. I knew she was and never tried to say otherwise. What's pathetic is James Adams was sober and driving ~85mph on Westport with no emergency lights or siren. The witnesses said he had to going at least 20-30mph over. How is that safe/good judgement? Furthermore, they said he didn't seem to care after he hit her. They're the only neutral opinions in the matter, and what they said was clear. Clear you're a fellow cop by your response. Like we give a **** what you think, you all just cover for each other and look the other way when necessary.

Years and years ago, my cousin came within a hair of getting t-boned by the New Albany Fire Chief who driving twice the limit on Grantline Road - drunk - for no reason. He was lucky, though, as the vehicle in front of him did not judge it correctly and pulled out - and mom, dad and two kids died in the resulting crash. My cousin said he would have pulled out too, as he lived nearby and knew the timings for the road, that if a vehicle was at a particular point, there was sufficient time to pull out. You simply do not anticipate someone going that fast, especially at night, and do not take it into your decisionmaking.

It WAS legal for her to be drinking, by the way, as she was in the presence of her parents and not at a retail establishment. She may not have been sober enough to drive, but it was not illegal for her to be drinking.
