LMPD officer struck on I-65; police want to thank citizen who helped out

I talked to Larry on the phone... he told me his command has been great to him. I don't know how that got started but it is simply not true. He had nothing but good things to say.

He did say anyone could call him if they wanted something cleared up. He has had a rough time. It has taken a toll on him and his family. He has had to overcome some difficult obstacles in the past year. If you dont know about what he has gone through you need to check.

Matter of fact, if anyone knows him personally, then you know what activities his son participates in. He was severly injured in a race a couple weeks ago, requiring surgery, therefore making things even harder on his home life.

Quit bitchin and take care of each other.
