LMPD officer struck on I-65; police want to thank citizen who helped out

A spokesperson for the Chief's Office stated that the officer will be suspended as soon as he is well for violating department policies and for damaging the guardrail.

I know another "pampered traffic cop" that has been off for quite some time due to a tbi. But, he wasn't doin "real police work", so it doesn't count.
